Gayatri Khandhadai is a lawyer with a background in international law and human rights, international and regional human rights mechanisms, research, and advocacy. She previously worked with national and regional human rights groups, and more recently as a researcher for Bytes for All, focusing on freedom of religious expression. She is the Project Coordinator for IMPACT – India, Malaysia, Pakistan Advocacy for Change through Technology with the Association for Progressive Communications.
Gayatri’s background is in freedom of expression, freedom of association, and assembly, and she is also active in public interest/class action matters, including with LGBT groups, in India.
She currently focuses on digital rights in Asia with specific emphasis on freedoms of expression, assembly and association on the internet.
