Hirofumi Hotta is Director of JPRS, a JP ccTLD Registry, since 2001.

He is responsible for corporate planning and administration of JPRS.

He has actively participated and lead discussions in ICANN as a ccNSO Councilor, and in APTLD (Asia Pacific TLD Association). He is also known for his speciality in IDN and has been active in various Working Groups and Committees of ICANN. He also chairs JGP (Japanese Generation Panel in ICANN’s Root LGR project).
