Mimie Rahman is a dynamic youth advocate that addresses universal human rights, egalitarian values and inclusive expression in Malaysia. She is an Advocacy and Research Officer for internet rights in EMPOWER that work extensively on freedom of expression, freedom of information and freedom of assembly and association.
Her profound interest in human rights and democracy has led her to be one of the fellow for Youth South East Asian Leader Initiative (YSEALI). She is also a co-founder for Komuniti Muslim Universal (KMU), a faith based civil society organisation that advocates for progressive discourse on religion and human rights.
