Nica Dumlao is a feminist activist from the Philippines and has been involved in the social justice movement for over 13 years now. Ever
since 2008, Nica worked on the nexus of ICT, human rights, gender, and social justice issues when she helped found the country’s first nationalassociation of ICT workers.
She is former Internet Rights ProgramManager at the Foundation for Media Alternatives (FMA), where she leadthe development of the Philippine Declaration on Internet Rights &Principles. Nica currently serves on the Planning Committee for the 13tt AWID International Forum on Women’s Rights and Development and sits in the steering committee of the Philippine Internet Freedom Alliance (PIFA), the broadest nationwide alliance of Internet freedom advocate in the country. She is also Board Secretary of the ASEAN SOGIE Caucus.
